  1. Good list ...

However Wombles bad enough ... but Bananarama ... that "Stop(ped) Making Sense".

  2. Obviously the Wombles was in a moment of desperation. With Bananarama we wanted to include that 80s black hole of music, clearly. If you've got any good ideas for titles, do let us know and we'll try and work round them. We're still trying to find a way of using a Baker Street lyric and (your favourite) Sebastian - 'come to a strange place and we'll talk over old times' - could fit in somewhere.

  3. Please Mr Postman, The Carpenters? Didn't another band make it before them? Who was it now? Oh yes, it was only THE BEATLES!

  4. Thanks for your comment and fair point but we went with whatever song/artist combination that we consider most well-known. There are a couple of other cover versions in our list. Besides, who needs to be reminded of the Beatles ... or indeed The Marvelettes who first recorded Mr Postman.
